WANAKAN CULTURAL CENTER INC.

The Cultural Center of THE TAÍNO NATION OF THE ANTILLES, INC. is a non-profit, community based, multicultural service and multi-faceted house for the promotion of the Taino culture. Our mission is to promote the history and the richness of the Taino culture which is part of the fabric of the Caribbean homelands and of its subsequent migration through out the diaspora; and to reclaim, restore and preserve the Taino peoples heritage and natural language.
We also provide valuable supplemental educational and tutorial programs to adults, children, and youth. Our programs provide a structured, disciplined, caring, creative environment for learning and educational success. The cultural center of the Taino Nation of The Antilles, Inc. has a life-long commitment to foster a global environment that promotes peace, justice, excellence, mutual respect and love for one another.
